75th Anniversary Celebrations
As many of you will know, 2010 is the Ramblers' 75th anniversary and
we are celebrating the achievements of the last 75 years - particularly
access to open land, our glorious footpath network and more recently
legislation for coastal access.
We are working on a set of pages on this site to recognise what has
been achieved in Kent and those who have achieved it. This is very
much work in progress at the moment but you can have a preview here.
If you think of anything that could usefully be added, please let me
know.
Annual Review
The annual review for the year ended 30 September 2009
was posted on 4 January 2010 and should be with you by now. You can preview it here:
AR2009LoRes.pdf
(although it is a low resolution version and so not of
the quality of the printed version to be posted out to all members in
January, it is still almost 5MB in size and therefore not suitable for
those using dial-up connections.)

Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held on 6 February 2010. Motions for debate
should be with me by 9 January 2010 and I will supply copies on request
after that date. Please let me have nominations for the posts of
Chairman, Vice Chairman (two posts), Treasurer and Secretary by 30
January. Also up for election are places on Area Council for up
to five representatives of individual members and up to five
representatives of affiliated clubs. You can download a nomination
form here:
