Friday July 4th 10 am Egerton Village Hall, TQ 907473. 6 mile morning walk. Lunch, picnic or local pub, followed by Egerton Farmers’ Market, 2pm at the village hall. Roma.

Sunday July 6th Choice of walks

Either: 10 am Grove Ferry, TR 235631. 9 miles. Dogs allowed. Pub stop, The Rose, Wickhambreaux, food available. Keith, 01227 364884.

Sunday July 13th Choice of walks

Sunday July 20th 10 am Denton Village Hall car park (lane opposite The Jackdaw), TR 214471. Figure of eight walk: 6 + 5 miles. Pub stop, The Jackdaw. Afternoon start 1.30 pm approx. Cream teas available at the pub at the end of the afternoon walk. Rosemary, 01227 711804.

Friday August 1st 7.30 Prom in the Park at Ripplevale School, Chapel Lane, Ripple, (TR 351497). Tickets £12 if bought in advance direct from the school or £15 on the door.

Sunday August 3rd Choice of walks

Either: 10 am. Meet at Aylesford Railway Station, near Maidstone, TQ 720586. (Limited car parking: use side roads near by.) Train to Yalding, then 12 mile linear walk back along the Medway Valley Walk. Pub stop, to be arranged. Andrew, 01622 791010.

Either: "Four and a bit Marsh Churches" 10 am. Meet at St. Nicholas Church, New Romney, TR 065247. (N.B. Car parks are for up to 4 hours only. There is parking in the streets on the far side of the High Street, but please leave plenty of time to find a space.) 9 miles. Pub stop, food should be available, but check with Jenny beforehand. Please always bring suitable clothing and footwear. It is also advisable to carry a drink and a snack, even when a pub stop is planned.
