Saturday February 6th 10 am Shorne Village Hall. Kent Area Annual General Meeting, followed by buffet lunch and a walk.

Sunday February 7th Choice of walks

Or: 10 am "Map Reading Walk" Tyler Hill Memorial Hall car park, TR 141609. 5-6 mile morning walk with tips on map reading for those who wish to improve their skills. Thursday 1st April "Social Evening with a focus on Trekking in Nepal."

7.30 for 8 pm The Plough and Harrow, Bridge. Contributions will be welcome from anyone who would like to share their experiences of Nepal (or other exotic places) with their fellow ramblers. Saturday 24th April KCC Family Fun Day and Launch of Explore Kent Walking Festival

10 am - 4 pm Sturry Community Garden, Sturry Road, (access near Park and Ride on A 28).

Activities include food, entertainment, local produce stalls and a choice of walks, including a 9 mile walk to Wickhambreaux via Fordwich led by our Group on behalf of Ramblers. See newsletter for more details.

Saturday 19th June East London Green Chain Walk

12 mile linear walk from Erith Railway Station to Charlton Railway Station. Starting at the River Thames, the Green Chain Walk passes through woodland, open spaces and park lands with good views of London. The route is well way-marked and very picturesque in places.
