New Wealdway Board at Tonbridge Castle

In March 2011the old Wealdway information board at Tonbridge Castle was replaced with a new one produced by Kent Ramblers with support from Tonbridge & Malling Council and Tunbridge Wells Rambling Club.

The Wealdway is a long distance walk from Eastbourne to Gravesend across some of the finest scenery in southern England.  The route was researched and planned by volunteers from the Ramblers and opened in September 1981.

The old information board was in poor condition and the Ramblers had already replaced a similar one at Eastbourne.  The third board at Gravesend may need replacing soon.
