Meet in front of the Dover Castle Inn (20 London Road) on
the A2. Parking available in Station Road and associated
local roads. We quickly leave the 'buzz'of the A2 to find
tranquility on the lanes and byways of rural kent. We pass
through Lewson Street, Newnham and Lynsted before returning
to Teynham. 'Hidden Kent' - although there is a fair bit of
road walking we walk through communities that are bypassed
by the A2 and motorways. Some marvellous topiary can be seen
at Champions Court, Mill Cottage and Sharsted Court. Apart
from a short descent/ascent into Newnham the route is mainly
on the level and over good ground. Pub at end. |

little canter for those who have acquired the

Canterbury - to ride at the pace of a Canterbury
Pilgrim?). Pub at end. |
