EVENING - FISH and CHIP SUPPER. Park and meet in the car park of the
Lower Bell PH. We will climb Bluebell Hill and visit two Neolithic sites
- all in order to work up an appetite for a 'group supper' (sorry but
you will have to buy your own - about £6.00) We will visit Kits Coty
House, view the Weald from Bluebell Hill before descending to Eccles and
calling in on Little Kits Coty before returning to start and a Fish and
Chip supper at the Lower Bell. Please contact Geoff before 1 August at

Meet and park at the RSPB car park at Bromhey Farm - look for the RSPB
sign off the Cooling Road between High Halstow and Cooling. Post Code
ME3 8DS. Starting at the RSPB Reserve we take a short climb to Northward
Hill through woods across fields and farmland to St Mary's Hoo. Then
through fields and marshland to St Mary's Bay, along sea defences to
Egypt Bay. Returning across the marshes with short sections of road back
to car park via Northward Hill. No dogs allowed in the RSPB Reserve.
Bring binoculars for viewing birds and shipping along Thames. Bring
picnic lunch. Pub at end. |

Park and meet in the car park of St Nicholas Church, Route is Leeds,
Hucking, Ringlestone, Lenham, Fairbourne, Leeds - taking approximately
10 hours - making significant use of the North Downs Way and the
Greensand Way. We complete the climb up onto the North Downs early in
the walk and then spend the rest of the day making our way between 5 PHs
- some which we may need to visit! A day in the countryside with some
outstanding views of the Weald. We are never more than 3 miles from a PH
(shelter) so if someone wants to try the distance they are welcome but
must make their own arrangements to be picked up/get back to their car.
Bring sufficient for TWO picnic lunches. Pub stop midway. Pub (meals
available) at end. |

park. A flat walk, only two stiles (possibly). Walk goes out to RSPB at
Cliffe Pools, past lakes and farmland to River Thames, along sea
defences to Cliffe Fort, through working quarries (CAUTION) to Westcourt
Farm, Salt Lane and back to the lakes. Bring picnic lunch for rest at
Cliffe Fort (depending on the weather). Opportunity to see Charnel House
in St Helen's churchyard which is currently undergoing renovation. |

many years the trainer of the Queen Mother's horses. Then we pass
through large open spaces before passing through the churchyard to

Park considerately Horsmonden in village and meet at village green

River Teise, woodlands, views of the HIgh Weald. There are several
