As we get closer to the Peak District weekend at the end of April,
members might like to remember last year's trip to Church Stretton in
Shropshire. Thanks to David W for these pictures.
New footpath open
Paul writes "I would like
to inform members of the Sevenoaks Group that the new
footpath SR 735 opened in January. It runs beside the
A21 from Gracious Lane bridge to Hubbards Hill.
There
are various possibilities for walks such as circular
from the centre of Sevenoaks via SR 735 and the
Greensand Way SR271 under Beechmont into Knole Park or a
route to Weald Village and beyond."
(Paul, Jim, Ron and Arthur were amongst many RA members
who collected evidence to support the claim for this
path way back in 2003)
