Kent Area AGM:

Around 120 people attended the AGM at Brockhill Country
Park near Folkestone despite the dire weather warnings. We were
delighted to be joined by Benedict Southworth, the Rambler's new Chief
Executive who had taken up post just three days earlier. The
meeting was followed by an excellent lunch and a fine walk across
snow-clad downs with sea views.
The meeting elected the following Officers:

Representatives of individual members - David
Law, Les Preston and Peter Skipp
However, the post of Public Rights of Way Manager
remains unfilled and we are very keen to hear from anyone who might be
able to assist with all or part of this role.
