Kent
Pubs Please send any updates to the Webmaster using "contact
us" above.
This data base lists approx. 500 pubs, mainly
throughout Kent, but some also in Surrey and Sussex and one or two in Essex.
These have been built up from past programmes showing pubs frequented (on
walks only, of course!) by RA Members. The details show for each pub 1.
Village or town in which pub is situated, 2. Name of pub, 3. address of pub,
including post code, 4. pub telephone number, 5. grid ref. of pub, 6. three
places close (for walking purposes) to pub.
As an example:- Chequers, Loose, Old Loose Hill, ME15
0BL, GR757521, tel: 01622 743125 Boughton Green/East Farleigh/Yalding.
The database also has provision for E-mail and web addresses and publican
name(s), but that info. is often not included.
Chris Baker from North West Kent RA Group has taken
3-4 years to build this database and is now making it available to RA
members in the whole of the Kent Area via the Kent Area website.
